Bengals Make Play for LB James Harrison

The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be the latest NFL franchise to lose a star player to a division rival. Reports within the AFC North are reporting that James Harrison may be close to signing a deal to join the Cincinnati Bengals, a deal that would give Harrison 2 games per year to exact revenge on the team that wouldn’t pay to keep him.

Harrison wouldn’t be the first major player to move to a rival franchise in the 2013 NFL offseason, which is looking more and more like a war of attrition. Longtime Green Bay wideout Greg Jennings will be a Minnesota Viking this fall. Former Ravens LB Paul Kruger now plays for the Cleveland Browns, and Cullen Jenkins left the Philadelphia Eagles for the New York Giants.
