Tribe finally wins! And wins BIG!

The Indians broke their 5 game losing streak tonight in proper form, crushing the Houston Astros 19 to 6! Ofcourse one could say yeah but it was against the astros. Well yes it was but coming into the game the Astros were 5 and 11 and the Indians were 5 and 10 so…

Right away in the first inning the tribe came out looking like an all star team. Batting around the order plus they were able to score 8 points adding to that another 11 points between the 2nd and 5th innings. I’m not going to ask or think about how this happened i’m just happy it did! I mean this is a team that in the past five games that they lost all of put three or fewer points on the board per game and now to do this? the only difference in the lineup tonight was Jason Kipnis who has been out the last five was back.

The pitching was not the greatest or what i would have liked to have seen. scott Kazmir made his first start as an Indian and only went 3 1/3 innings and allowed the Astros their only six runs. I have alot of faith in Kazmir though and i’m not going to let this first start change my mind on him. I think really he’s going to be a great starter it’s just going to take him some time to get where he needs to be. In any case he did better than the Astros starter Humber. he was pulled after only 1/3 of an inning I think it was only 20 or 25 minutes into the game.

The stats were incredible if i were to write them all out it’d take me hours. All I can say is that every player tonight was at the top of their game and every player helped in no small way to the 22 hits and 19 points. Hopefully this gives them the boost to get them playing and winning like we all know they can again!
