With the 3 day rookie Mini camp already completed. The Vikings had an important guest visit Winter park on the last day. His name is Conor Cosgrove, formerly a wide receiver for the Golden Gophers, before he is diagnosed with leukemia in September of 2010, which sadly ended his playing days on the football field in collage and destroyed his dream of one day playing in the NFL. The now 23 year old is continuing treatment and fighting his illness with an up beat attitude. The message that he gives to the rookies was a simple, yet powerful. Which was, to live your life to the fullest every day, because everything can be taken away, in the blink of an eye, so cherish every moment you have and take advantage of every opportunity that comes along your way.
